Keeping ripe peeled bananas in your freezer means you're always just one step away from a healthy smoothie. Kefir, peanut butter and flaxmeal add protein, probiotics and healthy fats.


    • ½ frozen banana

    • ½ cup raspberries, fresh or frozen

    • ⅓ cup low-fat plain kefir

    • 2 teaspoons natural peanut butter

    • ½ teaspoon flaxmeal

    • 1 tablespoon 1-2 tablespoons water


    Combine banana, raspberries, kefir, peanut butter and flaxmeal in a blender. Process until smooth, adding water a tablespoon at a time, if necessary.
